In 1898, the Couturbier Golf Club was the only golf course in Piedmont and only two golf courses were at time in Italy. The course was Par 36 and 2.000 yards long and was patronized by the Royal Family, fox hunting in the Conturbia earldom.
The modern 27th holes golf course, planned and built up by Robert Trent Jones Sr. covers an area over than 1 million of square meters in ideal place among secular trees, streams, small lakes and gentle undulations of the land.
The course which fits in a harmonious way into the splendid and intact countryside, was inaugurated in 1986 and in 1991 and 1998 hosted the Italian Open.
The restaurant has a wide and covered terrace with splendid view over the 9th hole of the three courses.
